2023 Emergency Supplemental Budget Public Hearing

RESOLUTION 2023-12-01


The Clark County Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10 am to consider the 2023 Emergency Budget Supplemental appropriation amending the 2023 Annual Budget.


Budget Office staff are preparing calculated impacts of the requests submitted by departments and elected officials at this time. Estimated figures will be posted on the Clark County website here: https://clark.wa.gov/budget/2023-budget in advance of the budget hearing.


Council meetings will be held in a hybrid format and the public is encouraged to participate in the following ways:

2024 Annual Budget Public Hearing

The Clark County Council will hold a public hearing for the Clark County2024 annual budget in accordance with RCW 36.40.071 and RCW 36.40.080 and making tax levies at the following times and dates:

  • Monday, the 4th day of December 2023 at 10:00 a.m. to allow Elected County Officials to present information regarding Clark County's 2024 annual budget; and


  • Tuesday, the 5th day of December 2023 at 10 a.m. for public testimony regarding Clark County's 2024 annual budget; and any continuance deemed necessary and announced at this hearing.


  • Wednesday, the 6th day of December 2023 at 10 a.m. for a continuance of public testimony regarding Clark County's 2024 annual budget. This Public Hearing will only be held if the 2024 Budget is not adopted at the December 5th Public Hearing.

Following its hearing and any continuances thereof, the Council may adopt Clark County's 2024 annual budget with such modifications as may be developed at the hearing. Copies of the 2024 budget documents and prior years' budget documents are available on-line at https://clark.wa.gov/budget.


Council meetings will be held in a hybrid format and the public is encouraged to participate in the following ways:

  • In person attendance in the Council's Hearing Room, 6th Floor, Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, WA 98666

  • Virtually via WebEx(join by phone or computer): information for the meetings will be posted on the Meeting Agendas & Archives page one week prior to the meeting: https://clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-county-council-meetings

  • Watch the meeting live on CVTV (Comcast channel 23)

  • Livestream from a personal computer at www.cvtv.org

  • Submit written comments via the County website at https://www.clark.wa.gov/councilors/public-comment

  • Read your comments into the record. Instructions are available on the County website at https://clark.wa.gov/councilors/clark-county-council-meetings. They can be found at the top of the meeting page, as well as in the related document portion of that meeting entry.
